Car Rental at Hong Kong Airport

There are no car rental counters within Hong Kong Airport, but customers with a reservation can take an Airport Express train to MTR Station in Kowloon, where car rental counters are located on the In-Town-Check-In Level. Airport Express leaves directly from the airport's train station and takes only 19 minutes to reach Kowloon's MTR Station.

The local Avis branch is located at Regal Kowloon Hotel, G06-08, on the ground floor, at 71 Mody Road in Tsim Sha Tsui East, +852 2890 6988, not far from the MTR Station. The counter is open from Tuesdays to Sundays from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm. On Mondays the counter is open from 8.00 am to 7.00 pm and on Saturdays and Sundays the Avis counter is open from 7.00 am to 6.00 pm. Rentals start from HK$1,360 per day for Group C vehicles, which include the Toyota RAV4, Audi A4 and Toyota Camry.

Avis also has an office at Centre Point Shop 2-3 G/F, 181 to 185 Gloucester Road, Hong Kong, tel +852 2882 2927. This Avis shop is open from 8.00 am to 7.00 pm on Mondays, and from Tuesdays to Fridays from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm. On Saturdays and Sundays it is open from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm.

Hertz (reserve@hertz.com.hk, +852 2525 2838 for general car hire, +852 2920 2323 for chauffeur-driven or cross-border limousines) is located at Kowloon MTR Station , Shop KOW58. Day rentals start from HK$900.00 a day, HK$2,000.00 for a weekend and HK$3,700.00 for a week. The Hertz counter is open on Mondays from 8.30 am to 6.00 pm, and on Tuesdays to Fridays from 9.30 am to 6.00 pm. On weekends the counter is open from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm. On public holidays the Hertz counter is closed. The Hertz Hong Kong fleet includes the Honda Jazz, 2018 Toyota Camry, BMW328 GT and Toyota Corolla. The minimum age for renters is 25 years.
